This is your day to do what you like around the region. Events will be independently arranged by the wineries and advertised on line.
Sunday 11am - 6pm
This is the ticketed festival day. Your ticket will get you on a complimentary bus at designated bus stops from Wainui to Wine Central to start the winery route about the three winery venues from 10.30am to 1.00pm.
Buses will return festival goers into town from 4.30pm onwards to the same designated bus stops until 6.30pm.
Tickets will be available from 1 August, 2016

Your festival ticket will need to be transferred at "Wine Central" at the Showgrounds Pavillions . You will receive a wristband and that will get you on the regular 30 minute interval bus route/s and into the four venues . It will also give you a complimentary festival glass and map.
Entry will be monitored by security at each venue. Security will also be checking that it is just you, your glass and your wristband that you are bringing - no extra food or beverages, we want you to savour our great wine & local fare.
Partnering up with Go Bus is ideal for the wine lover that wants to imbibe and enjoy the day with easy access on and off with your Bus Pass at each venue. The buses will operate every 30 mins around the route but remember take the day at your own pace, get on and off where you like.
There will be complimentary buses at designated bus stops from Wainui to "Wine Central" to start the winery route about the three winery venues including Matawhero Wines & Millton Vineyard. These buses will run from 10.30am - 1.00pm at the start and finish of the day to return you home from 4.30pm - 6.30pm. At "Wine Central" (also a shared winery venue that will incorporate many smaller wineries) you will be able to take in your first glass of wine there and then take the bus to your first designated venue.
